Fall is right around the corner!  As we prepare for crisp weather, sweaters, and apple picking, it’s also time to start thinking about your fall home improvement projects.  Here are a few ideas to get you started as we begin to shift our focus indoors.

Fall Home Improvement Projects:

  • Add Home Insulation – Now that the weather is beginning to cool down, you want to make sure that your home is well-insulated against the change in temperature.  Insulate your attic, the walls of your home, your garage, and your basement.  Insulating your home can save you hundreds of dollars on your home energy bills!
  • Add Caulk to Your Windows – Your windows also play a big role in the energy-efficiency of your home.  If you notice that your windows feel drafty, it could be that you need to re-seal your windows.
  • Seal Your Driveway – As the weather cools, you want to make sure that your driveway stays in good condition.  Temperature changes can affect the integrity of the asphalt.  Make sure that you seal your driveway before the cool weather.
  • Paint Your Home Exterior – If you notice that your exterior paint is chipping, Fall weather is the perfect time to make it look new again.  Fall has plenty of days that aren’t too warm or to cold.  It’s the perfect temperature for fixing up your home before the winter months.

Great Results
"We used Good Life for foam insulation about 4 years ago with great results. An amazing difference, especially in the corner rooms of our house. We also did the energy audit and received a rebate."
