Where To Insulate
Wall Insulation for Closed Wall Cavities – Blown In Fiberglass & Cellulose
Even if your exterior walls have sheetrock or plaster on the inside and wood, brick, vinyl, or aluminum siding on the outside, it’s not too late to add insulation to your walls. Chances are you have 2″x4″ or 2″x6″ framing and even if the walls were insulated with fiberglass batts during construction, there is only so much material that could fit in that wall space (typically R-11 to 13) and those fiberglass batts have deteriorated over time, to an R value of 1 to 4.
We recommend Green Fiber Cellulose, typically installed from the outside of your home. This product works alone or right alongside your existing wall insulation, because it compresses old deteriorated insulation in the wall cavity. With R-Values of 4 per inch, we can take the insulation R value in your exterior walls from an R-2 or 3 to an R-15 or more, depending upon the wall framing size.
Don’t get left in the cold this year.
Insulate your walls to ensure you and your family stay warm all winter with Spray Foam, Blown in Fiberglass or Cellulose Insulation.
