When was the last time you took a look at your home’s attic?

If you’re like most homeowners, it’s probably been a while.  Although your attic is an often overlooked part of the home, it plays a big role in your energy efficiency and in your home energy bill.  With families looking for ways to save and keep their homes warm through the holiday season, it’s time to rethink your attic insulation.

More than 80% of homes have little or no insulation, according to the Department of Energy.  So how do you know if our home has enough?

As a general rule of thumb, if you can see floor joists, this is a sign that you probably need more attic insulation.  If you’re not sure, measure to see how deep the insulation in your attic goes.

Easy to Work With
"Had Good Life Energy Savers blow new insulation into the attic and would recommend that anyone wanting insulation work done to give Good Life the opportunity. Service right from the sales rep. coming to discuss the job and give an estimate , to having the techs come and do the work was great. The techs left the job cleaner than when they came. It would be great if all companies worked like this one. The office was also very easy to work with."
