Homeowners who insulated insulation in their home in 2014 can receive tax credits on 10% of the cost, up to $500. This includes typical bulk insulation product, blow-in fibers and expanding spray insulation.
Unfortunately the energy efficiency tax credit was not extended into 2015, but anyone who improved their home insulation in the past year with us may qualify! Talk to your accountant about filing out the correct form for residential energy tax credits and save your receipts.
Learn more about what qualifies for an energy tax credit on the energy star website. You can also contact our office for more information on how insulation can improve your home’s energy efficiency. Call 203-297-6337 to reach our office or to set up a consultation.
